Dentist warns of diseases transmitted by oral checkups

Phnom Penh. Doctor Soum Vichet warns last Monday through Reaksmey Kampouchea newspaper, that diseases like HIV and TB are being transmitted during dental examinations if dentist has not the enough equipment or the place is not well professionally recommended. Tuberculosis, a very common decease in Cambodia, can be transmitted easily by equipments that are not sterilized. Vichet recommends that Cambodians should select very well the place where they are going to make dental examinations. They must keep strict hygienic and a professional attitude, says the dentist.
