Weekend of Pradal Serey in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh. On Saturday Khim Dyma, a boxer of Reasmey Phoum Pheak, took only three rounds to knock out Vann Chann Viat using specially knock-kneed during a pradal fighting transmitted by TV3 Channel. The fighting was among the 60 kg category where Dyma is a new arrival. Kim Dyma got 6 scores, while Vann Chan Viat lost one round. Dyma used his punch and knee to hit Chann Viat that tried all the time to defend from the heavy attack, but at the third round the left foot of Chann Viat was immobilized due to the Dyma insistent kicks.

The other couple was of Somrith Sopheab, a boxer of the Krosoung Kak Sikam Club, who knocked out Kim Phan of the Sek Club of Siem Reap on round three. In the fighting between Sophea and Kim Dyma, this last defeated the first during the first round.  Khim Phan lost two times when Sopheap began a strong fighting since the beginning and did not give the opportunity to Khim Phan to recover. In the third round, Sopheap knock-kneed Khim Phan in his belly and was sent definitively to the floor.

Phon Phanna, representing the Ministry of Agriculture, won to Phal Sophat from the PM Club of Phnom Penh on Saturday. Phanna used his knee to hit the belly of Sophat most of the times. Sophat tried to use his punch to hit back but he could not make much progress. Sophat was counted to eight by the referee on round 4 after was hit by Phanna on the face. Even though, Sophat could match till round 5. After the fighting, Sophat said to the television that he lost because he did not have enough power to fight for he ate a portion of crab.

Pech Sambath in representation of the National Security Ministry won to Phal Bayon. They fought each other till round 5. By their part, Leab Samnang of Kong Pol Touch No. 70 won Hol Dara of the Savorn Kayla Club. Samnang was good at using hands, whereas Dara was good at knee. At the end Dara lost power and was defeated by Samnang.
Rourm Vannak of the Reaksmey Phoum Peak Club of Banteay Meanchey Province won Kon Si Jhone, a fighter of Kong Pol Thom No.3 in Preah Vihear Province. Chann Vireak of Kong Pol Touch Lak 70 won to Chim Dara who comes from the Seng Kayla Club. Souy Phearom of the Odim Kayla Club jumped to kick on the Kon Sichann’s neck, causing his fall down on the floor and he could not get up.
