The VIP Sport

My vacations in Phnom Penh this month made me dedicate my time to some sport and I chose a the VIP Sport Club. It is not a too big area, but the enough to hold a great professional gym, a parking area, a boxing ring, a restaurant, a good pool, a tennis court and sauna and steam rooms.

I am coming every afternoon at 3PM. I read entirely The Cambodia Daily after having a not expensive and good lunch. At about 4PM I use the gym for more than one hour and after I can choose between the swimming pool and the sauna and steam.

I am not for tennis, but the place seems to be lovely for those who like that sport. I see also a lot of youth doing Pradal Serey, the Cambodian martial arts.

It is those kind of places that I would recommend if you come to the Royal Capital of Cambodia.

It is located near the Thai Embassy. You go alone the Norodom Boulervard. You find first the Thai Embassy to your left. Then the Angkor Beer offices also to your left. To your right you pass the big complex of the Ministry of Interior. Then you find a small street at the right and it has the ad of the club to easily spot it. You enter that street and run another 100 meters and here you are.

The fees seem to move time by time, but I paid for as a single person USD 40 for the month and I got an ID card.
